CD cover meme
from [info]boniblithe

1. The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
2. The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
3. The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4. Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post it in your own journal.

Clearly my band is an all-acoustic group with folk/country roots but a high level of pretentiousness.

Ha! at your analysis of the band.

Once again, I have a question about how this works. Isn't there always just one article on a page, and isn't that title then always what's in the URL, ie. the content of the page?

I like that my album title is "not been said before" though.

Well, what's in the URL is Special:Random, because it's pulling a random article every time you load/reload the page. (Is that what you're asking? I'm not sure I'm correctly understanding your question.)

No. Once I click that, the url has the article title in it, not special:random. I do not understand why "first" article on "that page" when a page seems to always be an article. I do not understand what counts as article title.

Huh. This is what I get for just copying and pasting the instructions without actually reading them very carefully.

[clicks experimentally] Well, eventually I got to a page with both a title and a subtitle. Maybe they're trying to make sure people use the article title and not the subtitle?

Ah, well, as long as you also thought it was the big fat name of the page, basically. Sorry for overcomplicating things again.

Here's mine! I'm guessing it's New Age, but I'd be interested to hear your guess.

What a great title! I envy that!

I can see New Age, but given the rhyme in the band name and the sort of industrial feel of the title, I can also see it being an '80s ping-ping pop band, so that the photo on the back would be of four or five men, with narrow ties and strange and complex hair, who clearly hadn't been out in the sun for decades.

It is, isn't it? One of the problems with this random-image-generation thing is that you can't really tell where an image comes from or what its story is.

I got Sting's Wiki page! I guess I'm destined to be a cover band.

Or maybe you're Sting in disguise. It's the internet, so we can't say for sure.

That's odd! I get a whole page full. Are you a Flickr member? Maybe if you are, it's loading a page according to your preferences.

Oops! It turns out that I am merely mentally disabled. But then you probably suspected that already.

:-( squared!

But I'll bet they play a mean didgeridoo!
